Certified Meister in housekeeping
Prepare for the master exam in housekeeping extra-occupational with our exclusive training at the housekeeping school at the HWBR. This trainings consists of theoretical and practical contents.
The master in housekeeping (Hauswirtschaftsmeister/-in) has the competence to organisationally, technically, economically and paedagogically lead a housekeeping company or to work in a tourism- oriented management or in the hotel and restaurant industry. You have the required knowledge to lead this housekeeping company on your own and after economical, ecological, nutritive, hygienic and social basics and to train apprentices competent.

Module 1: domestic care
- planning, realization and controlling of domestic care
- structuring and design of daily routines of persons and groups,
- preparration of dishes, care and service, design, cleaning and care of living and business rooms as well as the surroundings,
- care of textiles
Module 2: business management
- economical and social policy,
- labour law and social law,
- business forms,
- legal regulations,
- profits, comparisons, development plans,
- accounting,
- markt and marketing,
- organization
realization of a project for module 1
at the principle of full handling (6 months) with a presentation and an exam conversation
The vocational education and trainings qualification is to be proven by an exam according to the instructor's aptitude ordinance (AdA-Schein) before the start of the exams. It is not a part of this training.

Additionally to the competences of a Hauswirtschafter/in you should have a special empathy to customers as well as the willingness and fun to lead co-workers. Occupational qualification and personal development is a constant concern.
