Cruise ship courses for all occasions

HWBR Hotel School Rostock has expanded their course offers for the cruise and river cruise industries and thus establishes Rostock as a base for "cruise training".
Holiday travels at sea are booming. More and more new and more fascinating ships are launched and the shipping companies are looking for qualified staff - world-wide.
The HWBR Hotel School Rostock has responded to this fast-growing market and expanded their Cruise Course Programme . The course Certified Cruise Barkeeper (BA) which has been offered for two years now has been complemented by further courses for the kitchen, service and housekeeping areas.
During the three-week full-time courses the participants acquire all necessary knowledge of specialist, legal and practice-oriented basics which are required for a successful start of your career on a cruise or river cruise ship. Jobs at sea present special challenges which are usually not part of the vocational training in the hotel and restaurant industry.
In order to meet international requirements, the Berufsakademie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern feels responsible for multilingual certificates.
The course costs 896 EUR plus 100 EUR for the examination at the University of Cooperative Education (Berufsakademie). Employees can receive funding of up to 50% via the Education bonus. In addition to that, committed job changers can use an Education voucher of the employment agency. And: renowned cruise shipping companies and temporary employment agencies even finance up to 100 % of the course fee if the participants commits to several tours on board of a cruise ship.
You can choose from the following courses:
- Certified Cruise Barkeeper (BA)
- Certified Cruise Chef (BA)
- Certified Cruise Steward (BA)
- Certified Cruise Housekeeper (BA)
All of them will be offered three times a year. If you would like to start yur career on a cruise ship as soon as this summer, you can still enrol for a course in July 2011. Please find more information in the internet at www.hotelschule.hwbr.de. There is a new category "Gastronomy at Sea".
