ParagraphAccording to the Berufsbildungsgesetz (BBiG) - the vocational training act (German law), § 28
only people who are personally and professionally capable are allowed to teach an apprentice.

To be capable means here especially to have all the required professional skills and knowledge. Typically the trainer should have a training qualification in this profession. Furthermore he/she needs to have the pedagogical knowledges (§ 30 paragr. 1 und 2). Regulations about this law (BBiG), the profession-apprenticeship-relation, the planning of apprenticeships and possiblities of learning strategies are also necessary to know.

The Berufsbildungsgesetz (BBiG) cares for the apprenticeship in Germany (dual system, the preparation for the apprentice as well as the further education and retraining (§ 1 Abs. 1 BBiG).

The BBiG also regulates the requirements for apprenticeships.
